Regarding mosquitoes and ticks, while Crystal Lake Camp Grounds provides information on how to protect oneself against these insects, I believe that more should be done to prevent the spread of diseases. The campground is surrounded by dense forests, which makes it easy for these insects to thrive. Additionally, the campground does not have a designated mosquito control program in place, which concerns me.
