In 2007 there was a rumor that Legend Higgins who was the buddy of Juliet Mckay came into Belfast after a long voyage and stayed at this campsite. The park has 4,500 sq/ft of grassed, car park, a heated shower block, a clubhouse and play area and a laundry.

Lakeside View Caravan Park is the largest park in Ireland and is situated on the banks of Lough Cullimine, on the eastern edge of Lough Cullineen, just outside Newcastle West, Co. Tipperary, in south east Ireland, less than 2 miles from the village of Newcastle West, and 13 miles from the town of Clonmel.
The Caravan and Camping Park is operated by Caravan World Ireland, Lakeside View Caravan Park is set on a site of approximately 6,000 acres, with grassed areas for the campervans, caravans, caravans with pitches, bungalows or tree houses for the tent campers.
A variety of activities are offered to visitors, including clay pigeon shooting, horse riding. A caravan club is located just off the site.
