September 12, 2003 Subject: Great guide This is a great resource for people who just want to explore the area around Durham and/or want a quick walk around, with some tips on where to camp, how long it's going to take, etc. If you go and see some amazing sights, you'll find some places you want to explore!
If you are going for vacation with your teenager do not forget about iced tea. Including a teenager for a vacation is fun however also very stressful.
You might want to take your own vehicle to go to the vacation spot. If you will use several items however your son or daughter has his or her vehicle.
The very first step for you will be to check out the requirements for that vacation spot. Make sure your son or daughter has all required items, including a first aid kit.
You don’t want to have to scramble to get the first aid kit whenever your son or daughter may get hurt. A travel agent can assist. They can also assist you choose the perfect vacation spot to ensure you and your teenager have a great time, but donning the same clothes and using the same vehicle for each vacation.
It can be really exciting to see our child’s look to grow. They can see and learn so many things they never thought existed If you are taking your teen to a vacation resort with your vehicle, be cautious that you are not parking it in an area that is also a short-term parking lot.
When parking in an area that is also a short-term parking lot, you have to worry that your vehicle will be damaged. A short-term parking lot can be the site of auto thieves as it provides a good place to hide.
Consider how many spaces there are in the parking lot to prevent your teenager from being a victim of car theft or being in an accident. Some short-term parking lots don't only have the regular parking spaces, but also have areas meant for handicapped parking and those for large vehicles.
Most of these are painted with distinctive signage identifying which of these areas are for large vehicles. In that way, you will be able to tell the difference when leaving the lot and you will be able to know that your vehicle was not left there on purpose. When planning a vacation, ask your teen to contact the local police and fire department.
They will be able to tell you if they have an area that is particularly prone to car thefts and accidents. If these are not areas that are highlighted, they will be able to tell you which areas are more secure.
Ask your teen's doctor about the best medication to use when planning a vacation, as many vacation resorts require children with asthma to carry a special epinephrine auto syringe.

As a jaded traveler hailing from the bleak shores of South Shields, NE33 2NL, I must admit, Sandhaven Caravan & Camping Park had me skeptical upon arrival. The thought of another mundane campsite, reeking of damp grass and questionable shower facilities, was hardly an enticing prospect. But my partner, ever the optimist, urged me to give it a chance. And, dear reader, I'm glad we did.
Upon settling into our pitch, we were greeted with a view that could only be described as idyllic: rolling green hills, a serene lake, and the gentle rustle of leaves in the wind. The cynic in me couldn't help but roll my eyes at such an obvious attempt to charm us, but I couldn't deny the sense of peace it evoked.
The real clincher, however, was the Enchanted Forest Trail. A self-proclaimed 'whimsical woodland adventure', I approached it with a healthy dose of skepticism. But as we ventured deeper into the trail, my doubts began to fade. The trees were adorned with twinkling lights and fairy doors, while the ground was carpeted in colorful leaves and flowers. It was like stepping into another world - one where magic was real and worries were nonexistent.
Our journey through the forest was filled with delightful discoveries: a babbling brook teeming with brightly-colored fish, a hidden clearing where we shared a picnic, and even an encounter with a friendly family of deer. The cynic in me wanted to write it off as mere trickery, but the child within me couldn't help but be enchanted.
Sandhaven Caravan & Camping Park may have started off as just another campsite, but it proved to be so much more than that. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was one of relaxation and rejuvenation. And while I'll never fully admit it, I can't help but look back on our stay with a sense of fondness and wonder.
For those planning a visit, my only tips would be to pack plenty of layers (even in the summer months, the temperatures can drop in the evenings), and to bring a good book or two for quiet moments by the lake. And as for the Enchanted Forest Trail, I won't give away too many secrets - but trust me, it's worth the journey.
So, dear reader, if you find yourself yearning for an escape from reality, Sandhaven Caravan & Camping Park might just be the place to do it. Just don't tell the cynic in me I sent you.
