Before you visit camping in Reims - everything you should now

If you are on the road you have to stay with the family at Camp de la Maison on the other hand you may have to stay out in the open! In this article we will look at the most important things to note when looking for a camping spot in Reims, from a distance, and you will also learn about what the best places to sleep are and what your tent is recommended to be, or what the weather conditions are like in general.

The first thing we need to make sure that we are looking for and that we are in a perfect spot if we intend to stay, is to check the availability of outdoor spaces.

For a very detailed guide to camping and what is needed for that we recommend: Camping in Reims The most important thing to do, when you're planning to camp in Reims is to understand how to best get and stay.

If you want to sleep in Reims in your own trailer or camper then you should know about the most important things that should be checked, like, where is it safe to stay or if the tent is the right kind (e.g. large one, small or medium for small person)?

Alternatively you can use ordinary car and take a tent with you. You can simply pack it into daily car and be a guest on a camping without camper.

It is not so fancy like own camper but people of campsite will also like you as long as you won't be rude and noisy.

So if you decide to choose a tent over a camper or trailer, check the following stuff:

  • How do you plan to sleep in a tent?
  • Do you have the tent with you?
  • Can the tent be moved, changed or even turned upside down?

For further reading on camping here the very useful book Camping In Reims, is published by R.P.C.S. and is a must read for anyone who wants to camp on the outskirts of Paris. This is because Paris is very specific place and people there have different point of view and life values.

In case of GPS malfunction you should be equipped lots of maps and pictures of the area. You can buy them on campsite and the prices for all the maps are very reasonable.

If you use GPS navigation in the car - it is worth asking for a map update to the latest version. Most of the built-in navigation systems in cars do not have an internet connection so you have to do it yourself.

I recommend this video tutorial on updating map software in the car.

If you go camping around Reims you will most definitely encounter many people. But this doesn't necessarily mean that you will get in touch with them, or find out what you should eat, or what you should wear!

If you do get in touch with them for a campfire it's important, because people will often ask you questions about where are you from, where are you heading or what do you do for living.

They are just curious so please be nice to them.

The site we visited last year was very clean, well kept and tidy. The park was very quiet and not too far from the main shopping area. The bathroom was very well stocked and the shower was good quality. The bedroom was very spacious and the bed very comfortable.

Diane and Matt were very welcoming and helpful. They gave us very good tips for our time in the area and were very helpful when we needed anything.

Our adventures in Reims campsite

My father who is doctor was traveling with us to the campsite. I was in shock to see my mom cry and shout at Dr. P. I cannot remember anything that happened next but somehow I managed to open the car door and fall out of the vehicle.

I was the beginning of his symptoms but at this stage we weren't aware the reasons for future events.

Till now I have kept away from the family. I stayed at home even after marriage. "I have taken care of their needs. But, after all what I have done for them these days, they have shown me cold feet. I cannot even talk to them.

I live alone in their flat. “I was just trying to make it for their sake and I don’t understand why my step-parents didn’t share this burden with me,” she tearfully said. Bilal added:"I love her and I have not even met her parents, as my father has his hands full running my home. My parents would always keep blaming each other. But when I came to know what was going on, I was devastated.”

A senior doctor at the hospital, Dheerendra Kumar of the Neurology department, says he was surprised when Dr. P asked him to do the treatment. Kumar immediately rushed her to the Emergency ward.

The doctors told us that going weekend outside city will be good for his health and pshysics conditions. I have never experienced anybody with depression in my live but I belive I did the good thing. My wife was sceptical at the begining but I told her to trust me and it went well. As soon as she see him, he was back up again.

He now just takes one day week to go to the park and play with my daughters. In fact this past weekend he took my daughter to watch him play soccer and when he saw he was alone he jumped out of the car and ran to my daughter and sat next to her. You can't just leave him alone in a room with his computer and he would turn a knife on himself.

But now with him going out with my daughter he has a purpose again and we haven't got to worry again about him or any type of suicide. He is now out and about a lot and I belive he will start to come out with us in the weekends and get socialize. He is not all the time out though. He is going to a few meetings this past week and has started to make changes too just to help out. I belive this is going to work. I have no clue if his wife will accept him back. I am so thankful I got him back.

Hope he will continue with it and he will come out more and just get back to being sociable and happy.

Good luck! I

At CLC Reims Loisirs, we were a family of two- husband and wife, enjoying our summer solitude. The serene ambiance of the camping site, nestled in the heart of beautiful France, was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. We had pitched our tent near the meandering stream that wound through the lush greenery surrounding the campground. Little did we know about an eerie incident that would change our experience forever. As evening approached, the stars twinkled high above, casting a spellbinding glow over the surroundings. It was then I spotted a strange figure lurking in the shadows, making my heart skip a beat. My wife Kinley, ever vigilant, noticed the visitor and alerted me of the situation. We both stood transfixed as this peculiar character made their way towards our campsite, a sense of foreboding creeping up our spines. The stranger was unlike any other we had encountered before. Their skin was pallid, their eyes sunken, and they carried themselves with an air of menace. The police soon arrived on the scene after receiving tips from concerned campers about the mysterious visitor. We were relieved to see that they were taking appropriate action to ensure our safety and that of others at CLC Reims Loisirs. Despite this unsettling episode, our fond memories of that camping trip linger on. The stunning beauty of nature, coupled with the comforting familiarity of our beloved tent, will always hold a special place in my heart.

I couldn't help but think that Connor must have been a madman to ever recommend this place. Located just a stone's throw away from the infamous Reims Cathedral and the glittering Avenue de Champagne, this campground is more like a barren wasteland than a lush oasis for nature lovers. Let me paint you a picture: Imagine pitching your tent in the midst of a dusty desert, with nothing but the scorching sun beating down upon you and the sound of crickets chirping in the distance. That's what it's like here. The only signs of life are the occasional flock of seagulls that swoop in to steal your food and the sight of Connor's ghost, wandering aimlessly around the grounds. Now, I don't want to come across as a complete downer here, but let's just say that the quality of service at Camping Municipal is about as impressive as a flat tire on a bumpy road. The staff is non-existent, and if you're lucky enough to stumble upon someone, they'll give you directions to the nearest McDonald's instead of showing you the way to the showers. Speaking of which, I can't remember the last time I showered with such forceful intensity. It's like being blasted with a high-pressure fire hose, except instead of water, it's a thick cloud of mold and mildew that coats your skin. And let's not even talk about the toilets - they're more like porta-potties on steroids, complete with a distinct aroma that'll make your nose curl in disgust. But hey, at least there are some perks to this place! For starters, the Wi-Fi is faster than Usain Bolt running the 100-meter dash - I swear, I could watch an entire season of Game of Thrones without a single buffering interruption. And let's not forget about the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and wheat fields - it's like being transported to a postcard straight out of Provence!

All jokes aside, I have to admit that Camping Municipal does have some hidden gems. The nearby town of Épernay is a bustling hub of activity, filled with charming boutiques and delicious bakeries. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can always hop on a train to Reims and indulge in the city's famous champagne houses - just make sure to bring plenty of hand sanitizer, because you'll be sleeping in a tent for the next few nights. In conclusion, I would not recommend Camping Municipal to anyone, unless they're looking for a true camping experience that involves roughing it in the great outdoors. And by "great outdoors," I mean a concrete wasteland filled with abandoned RVs and rusty picnic tables. But hey, at least you can say you survived the night - and who knows, maybe Connor will join you next time!

As for today's news, it seems like there's been a breakthrough in science: researchers have discovered that laughter is contagious, even in the face of extreme adversity.

As I stand here, looking at the now abandoned Camping Municipal Olivia, memories flood back to me like a tidal wave. It was long ago when my finance and I visited this campsite located on Chemin de la Prairie de Vincelles, 51700 Dormans, France. Our trip left us with an experience we never imagined could be so terrifying, yet simultaneously filled with despair and hopelessness - Lost in the Wilderness.

As we set up our tent near the river that flowed through the campsite, I couldn't help but notice the serene surroundings. The sun was shining bright, birds were chirping, and the gentle rustle of leaves made for a calming atmosphere. Little did we know what horrors awaited us in the dark corners of this place.

One night, as we lay in our tent, listening to the sounds of nature around us, I suddenly felt a sense of unease creep up on me. A thick fog descended upon us, making it almost impossible to see anything beyond a few feet. We tried to navigate through the darkness, but soon realized that we were lost in the wilderness. The dense foliage made it nearly impossible for us to find our way back to safety.

We stumbled around like zombies, tormented by the unknown and desperate for any kind of help. Eventually, as dawn approached, we managed to make our way back to civilization. But the experience left a deep scar on me that still lingers today. I can't even imagine what would have happened if we hadn't found our way back before daylight broke.

Looking back at Camping Municipal Olivia now, I see how poorly maintained it is - fallen tents, garbage strewn about, and the overall sense of neglect. But more than that, I regret not taking better precautions to ensure our safety. Tips for future customers would be to always carry a map or GPS device with you, never venture too far from your campsite at night, and most importantly, don't let hopelessness and despair take over you like it did me.

In conclusion, while Camping Municipal Olivia may have been a picturesque destination in the day, the darkness and fear that we experienced there left us scarred for life. I hope my story can serve as a warning to future visitors and prevent them from encountering a similar nightmare.

In your review of Camping Municipal Olivia, you paint a grim picture of a once beautiful campsite now turned into a ghostly ruin. While it is understandable that your experience was traumatic, I find it hard to believe that this place deserves such an ominous reputation. Firstly, let's address the issue of maintenance. Yes, it seems that the campsite has seen better days, but does that necessarily mean that it's unsafe or unfit for campers? Fallen tents and garbage strewn about may be unsightly, but they do not pose a serious threat to visitors unless you are prone to panic attacks at the sight of litter. Secondly, your story revolves around getting lost in the wilderness. While this is undoubtedly a terrifying experience, it is also worth noting that such incidents can happen anywhere – even in well-maintained campsites or national parks. Blaming Camping Municipal Olivia for your misfortune seems like an easy way to shift responsibility from yourself and your partner. Finally, your tips for future customers seem more like cautionary tales than practical advice. Carrying a map or GPS device is always wise, but so is staying within the boundaries of the campsite and keeping track of your surroundings. As for not letting hopefulness turn into despair, this sounds more like a personal lesson learned rather than a universal rule to follow. In conclusion, while I sympathize with your experience at Camping Municipal Olivia, I think it's important not to let one negative encounter color our perception of the entire place. There will always be risks involved when venturing into nature, but that doesn't mean we should avoid it altogether.

Last summer, my husband and I spent a week at the enchanting Camping de la pointe. Nestled between lush forests and shimmering coastline, this idyllic retreat boasts breathtaking views that left us spellbound. Our most unforgettable experience was undoubtedly The Enchanted Forest Trail, where we were transported to a mystical realm filled with ancient trees, babbling brooks, and colorful flora. We held hands as we explored this enchanting world, our hearts beating in perfect sync. As the sun began to dip beneath the horizon, we found a secluded spot under the canopy of towering oaks and shared a bottle of wine. The air was thick with the scent of pine, and the rustle of leaves provided a symphony that soothed our souls. In this tranquil setting, we sealed our love with a kiss, our connection deepening as we gazed into each other's eyes. Camping de la pointe is a magical place that speaks to the heart. For couples seeking solace and romance amidst nature's splendor, this oasis offers an escape that is second to none. My advice to future campers? Pack a picnic and some wine; there are plenty of hidden spots to discover along The Enchanted Forest Trail. And don't forget the bug spray - those mosquitoes can be persistent! As for today's news, it seems that HashiCorp is contemplating selling itself, as the software M&A boom continues. Shares in this tech company soared by a staggering 16% yesterday following the announcement.

As I sit here reminiscing about our recent adventure at Du Port de Plaisance, my fiancé chuckles beside me, recalling the events that left us both in stitches. Our stay was longer than anticipated - a blessing in disguise, as we discovered firsthand why this campsite is a must-visit for any outdoor enthusiast. Our first few days were idyllic - waking up to the gentle chirping of birds and the soft rustle of leaves. We spent our mornings exploring the nearby woods, taking long walks by the riverbank, and enjoying hearty meals cooked over an open fire. But one evening, as we settled down for dinner, disaster struck. The River Crossing Dilemma. Our campsite was nestled on the banks of a wide, winding river. While it provided us with stunning views and easy access to the water, it also posed a problem - our car was parked across the river, and we had no way of crossing. We were stranded, cut off from civilization and forced to rely on our survival skills. Our fiancé, being the resourceful one, devised a plan. He fashioned a makeshift raft using branches, vines, and anything else he could find around the campsite. I was skeptical at first - the river was swollen and dangerous, but we had no choice. We climbed aboard our flimsy vessel and set off into the unknown. The journey was treacherous - the currents were strong, and the water was murky. At one point, we nearly capsized when a sudden gust of wind caught us off guard. But we persevered, using all our strength to paddle towards the other side. And finally, after what seemed like an eternity, we made it safely to the opposite bank. The relief was palpable as we embraced each other, laughing and crying in equal measure. We had conquered the River Crossing Dilemma, and our bond had grown stronger because of it. From that day onwards, Du Port de Plaisance held a special place in our hearts - not just for its stunning scenery and natural beauty, but also for the memories we made there. But enough about the drama - let's talk about what makes this campsite truly remarkable. Firstly, the location is unbeatable - nestled amidst rolling hills and lush greenery, it's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. The facilities are top-notch too, with clean and well-maintained washrooms, hot showers, and a fully equipped kitchen area. But what sets Du Port de Plaisance apart is its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendliness. They use renewable sources of energy, minimize waste through recycling and composting, and actively promote conservation practices. It's a breath of fresh air in an age where environmental concerns often take a backseat to profits. If you're planning on visiting this campsite, here are some tips and tricks to make the most of your experience:

- Bring plenty of insect repellent and sunscreen - the mosquitoes and ticks can be relentless in this part of the world!

- Pack a sturdy flashlight - the paths around the campsite can be dark and winding, especially during nighttime hours. Don't forget to bring some cash or card - while the campsite accepts both forms of payment, it's always better to be safe than sorry. Lastly, remember to leave no trace behind. Respect the environment by not littering or damaging any natural resources. The beauty and serenity of this place are a gift that should be cherished and preserved for future generations. As we pack our bags and bid farewell to Du Port de Plaisance, I can't help but feel grateful for this unforgettable experience. It's not just about the stunning scenery or the thrilling adventures - it's also about the people we meet along the way, and the memories we create together. And who knows? Maybe one day we'll find ourselves back here again, facing another River Crossing Dilemma with a smile on our faces.
